QR and NFC: two ways to share your card
You can share a Betaqa page using a QR code on your screen, or a compatible NFC tag that you program with its URL. These are different ways to start sharing; neither should be confused with website-enabled phone-to-phone NFC.
When does QR fit?
The recipient opens a camera and points it at the code. You can show it in Wallet, share an image or print it without buying dedicated hardware. A link QR needs internet; vCard mode lets supported apps read basic contact details offline.
When does an NFC tag fit?
A tap can be convenient if you want a physical card or sticker and the receiving phone supports it. A tag containing a page URL still needs internet to open that page, and reader location varies by device. Betaqa provides a shareable URL; it does not sell or program NFC tags.
Compare the actual cost and experience
Tag, card and subscription prices vary by provider. Compare current offers, replacement charges and required plans. Betaqa has a free plan; its pricing page explains limits and proposed pricing for future paid plans. For a live web exchange, Liqa offers a temporary invitation confirmed by the participants.
Frequently asked questions
Can I tap an iPhone against another phone using Betaqa?
The website does not provide phone-to-phone NFC contact transfer. Use the QR code, page link or a Liqa invitation.
Can I use an NFC tag I already own?
If the tag is writable and compatible, use an appropriate tool to write your page URL to it. Test it on another phone; Betaqa does not perform the writing step.
Is a subscription required to share?
Sharing is available within the free plan’s limits. Check pricing for current limits; we do not assume a fixed cost for NFC hardware or competing services.
